The Türler Media Prize was awarded for the first time on the occasion of the company's 100th anniversary.
A professional jury composed of media specialists and high-ranking members of the Swiss watchmaking industry presented the prize and a check for SFr. 10,000 each year from 1984 to 2003.
The Türler Media Prize commended individuals who devoted themselves to the multifaceted topic of time in its cultural, philosophical, technical, media-related, or historic aspects.
